Painted comber
A nice Painted Comber, the small cousin of the big groupers, together with many cardinal fishes in a colourful cavern.

Amberjack
late in the summer schools of young amberjack are often seen.

Brill or Plaice
Some of the "tongue" as we call them in Greek they look so similar... ..not sure if its brill or plaice!

Cardinal-fish
Look at the "parasit" on this fish... often they have some of those on their body...

Barracudas
These barracudas was seen in the port of the village. They are often there!

Damselfish
Almost every where you can see damselfishes but the period they reproduce its wonderful!

Deepnoses pipefish
It is a cousin of sea horse and it's not easy to find it as it doesn't move at all next to the posidonias..

Lizardfish
They really look like a lizard! The way they move, the way they hide...

Morey-eel tiger
They come out mostly in the night. They are thiner, longer and look the teeth... but they are not bad!!!

The morey-eel we mostly see in the mediterranean sea. Wrongly many people think they are dangerous...

Strap-weed file-fish
An other stranger in the mediterranean sea. It has been here from the red sea as many other fishes! (I saw many times in 2008 this fish! I'm quite sure is one more of those fishes coming from red sea... if some body knows the name of it, i will apreciate it if you tell me too!!! thank you!)

Striped bream
It looks like they eat the sand when they search for worms, crabs and other things in the sand to eat!

Striped mullet
"Barbouni" we call it in Greek from the "beard" they have and use to search in the sand for food!

Striped sea bream
Usual striped breams are in big school and they don't move fast. You can go very close and it's wonderful to see them!

White bream + Rainbow wrasse
A lot of small fishes of different kind and colours you can meet in the small bay not far from the beaches!
