On 4, 5 and 6 of April the first hotels in Bali did open for this summer 2009!
Our first divers came too and Corinne did met them in the information meeting!

We had more than a week with a really beautiful weather. Unfortunately the first 2-3 days of holiday of the first tourists who arrived on Crete the weather was not such nice... It got little cloudy, there was some rain and some waves came to move the Cretan sea! But who mind? the divers are not frighten of raining!!! The excitement for diving is strong and happily the weather got nice again soon!

The first dive was in Karavostassi. Angelos and Jeremy with Anthony, Elodie, Alexandre and Jean-Louis did a really nice dive to 11 meters for 68 minutes!!!
The water is cold at this time (about 17°C) and the visibility not that good as it will be in few weeks but it was more than 10 meters and with the wet-suits of the dive center we didn't feel that cold (only Elodie a little..!) and everybody came back to Hippocampos very happy! There we got a warm shower, then we had a long debriefing while looking in our books the various things we saw and had a drink!
We saw octopus, triton's shel, moray-eel, sea stars, spiral tube-worms, hermit-crab, various species of fishes, animals and plants, old potteries but the most exciting was a very big Greater spider crab, which is rare to find due to its perfect camouflage! (...the bad news?  ...the photo camera was not diving with us......  )

Since then, we are diving every day, in the morning and in the afternoon!
