The Scuba Diving equipment of Hippocampos Diving Centre.
When you come diving in Bali, you might want to bring your own equipment. If this is the case, you can wash and safely store, for free, your equipment in our diving centre.
If you don’t have or didn’t bring your own equipment, don’t worry, we do have all the proper equipment for scuba diving and scuba diving courses.
Our equipment is from AQUA-LUNG, TECHNISUB, BEUCHAT, FREE SHARK, WATER PROOF, IST, SPECTRUM PRO and our compressor is from PARAMINA LTD.
The cylinders (air tanks) are TECHNISUB and FABER/KARTELIAS and they are made of steel. They have valves of both, INT and DIN, connection. (There are some double valve tanks)
The wet suits are, mostly, single-piece without a hood, 5 or 5,5mm. We also have some neoprene under-suits and hoods for the beginning of the season, if someone needs (and some boots if you use open type of fins). There are also some shorties for the warm months!
The regulators are single piston in line (some INT and some DIN) with main 2nd stage and octopus, pressure gauge (or both, pressure gauge and depth gauge) and direct feed (Inflator hose) (some regulators, specially for some “try-dives”, have no octopus)
Most of our BCDs are single air-bag and all of them are non integrated weight. Most of the fins are closed type (foot pocket) and some are open type (adjustable). We have different kinds of masks, plus some “optical masks”. Also simple snorkels and snorkels with valves. We have two different sizes of torches. The smaller sizes are used for day and night dives and the bigger sizes are used only for night dives. We offer simple net-bags for the equipment transfer (so, if you bring your big, nice bag, you will not have to bring it to the sea!)
About sizes: There are: 50 air tanks of 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 15 and 18 litters. 20 regulators, 25 BCDs (jacket) XS-S-M-L-XL-XXL. 50 wet-suits from XS for the little children to XXL for the big daddy!!!
The weights are of three sizes: 1kg, 2kg and 2,8kg. Simple weight belts with quick release.
