Few words about us

Angelos

Angelos is Greek (Cretan), born in Bali.
As his father was a fisherman, Angelos has always lived by the sea… He was fishing with his father, using boats and discovering the sea around Bali, since he was 10 years old. He worked for a while on different ships while he was on Commercial Marine.
In 1988 he did his military service, (24 months) in the Greek Navy, at a special force (O.Y.K.) He is a Commercial Diver and Scuba Diving instructor of several dive organisations although during the last years he has been  diving and working only with the standards of PADI as an IDC Staff (member since 1993).
Scuba Diving is  Angelos’ passion and fish are his good friends. So, he quit fishing early in his life and his passion became his job… He is upset that there isn’t a way for others to stop fishing too and hopes that some day some people will realise how important it is for some “non fishing-zones”(parks) to be created…

Corinne

Corinne is French, from Versailles.
After she finished her studies she started working with children..  She went through different jobs for a while but being  a wild soul,  she decided in 1986 together with a good friend of hers, to travel around the whole world. That was her big dream!
First trip was to Crete… the last one too, since… here she found her paradise! The place, the people, the climate, even the air charmed her! Soon she decided to leave France and move to Bali Crete. She started working in tourism doing different kinds of jobs. Since then and until now she has been supporting Angelos to keep and operate their Dive Center. They have two sons, Stelios and Alexandros, who, of course, are divers too.

Corinne is a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver; she loves diving, the sea and its creatures. Being really sociable,  she also likes to relate with people. She adores her job and enjoys getting people to discover the Cretan under water world!

Alexandros is the son of Corrine and Angelos. He was  born in 1995 in Crete and he is half Greek (Cretan) and half French. He had his first dive when he was 4 years old and he fell in love with the underwater world!

It was only natural that he got his diplomas from PADI  to become a diving instructor. He has dived more than 4.000 times and still every time he dives he discovers something new! His favourite diving site is Peristeri. He is a certified regulator mainteiner for Beauchat and Aqualung. Refresher dive

						
“Refresher Dive” is for the certified diver who has not been diving for a year or more, or the new diver who wants to review skills. This course is a series of in-water exercises to reacquaint the diver with the basic skills to dive safely. This skill exercise is conducted by a Dive Master or Instructor, at a shallow and easy site, before this diver begins her/his diving vacation. Try dive

						
“Try Diving” (Discover Scuba) is a half day program designed to allow the non-diver to experience SCUBA Diving. It includes: briefing, a confined water dive with a professional certified PADI instructor, full equipment, a gift certificate. The meeting is at 14:30 at the Dive Center.
